Modern Slavery Policy Statement 2021
Alfa Leisureplex Group (encompassing alfa Leisureplex Group Limited, Leisureplex Hotels Limited, Alfa Coaches Limited, Alfa Travel Limited and David Urquhart Holidays Limited) is committed to preventing slavery in our own organisation and to ensuring, as far as we are able, that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.
Our principal ways of achieving these objectives are:
- Our employees are encouraged to raise any concerns concerning their working conditions and environment to their line manager and to escalate any unresolved issues.
- As an employee owned business we have Employee Council Members and Trustees, who can feed back issues raised from the employee base concerning their working conditions and environment to the Executive Board of Directors.
- We have revised our supply contracts to include a clause that requires our suppliers to be committed to ensuring, as far as they are able that our supply chains are free from slavery and human trafficking.
- We have reviewed our supply chain to identify high risk areas on the basis of product type and geography and requested that our key suppliers provide details of their policies and procedures designed to eliminate modern slavery from their supply chain.
We have not identified any instances or indicators of modern slavery in our business or supply chains.
